Green Oaks Federation is seeking to appoint a organised, compassionate and highly professional SEN Support Administrator to support our Inclusion Team across Oakwood Infant School and Greenfields Junior School.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children and families and who wants to play a vital role in ensuring pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) receive the very best support.
Working closely with the Inclusion Leader, you will coordinate a range of administrative processes, maintain accurate records, support statutory SEND procedures and act as a key point of contact for parents, staff and external professionals.
About the Role
You will:
- Provide high-quality administrative support for SEND provision across the federation.
- Support the management of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) processes and annual reviews.
- Produce accurate records, reports, correspondence and meeting minutes.
- Liaise with parents, carers, staff and external agencies in a professional and sensitive manner.
- Maintain confidential pupil records and SEND documentation.
- Help coordinate meetings, reviews, training events and parent workshops.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of SEND systems and processes.
We Are Looking For Someone Who:
- Is highly organised, efficient and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrates warmth, empathy and professionalism in all interactions.
- Can build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Produces accurate and detailed administrative work.
- Has strong ICT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office 365.
- Shows initiative and a genuine commitment to inclusion and supporting children with SEND.
Essential Requirements
- GCSE Grade C/5 or above (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics.
- Previous administrative experience.
- Experience using IT systems and Microsoft Office 365.
- Experience working with children, young people or families.
Desirable Experience
- Working within a school environment.
- SEND administration and EHCP processes.
- Knowledge of CPOMS, Arbor or similar school management systems.
- Liaising with external agencies and support services.
- Provision mapping, intervention tracking and SEND data analysis.
