Job Introduction
South Farnborough Junior School is looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and creative individual to work as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) within our Resourced Provision starting asap.
The post will require you to prepare, teach and assess the teaching and learning of pupils with SEND.
Our Resourced Provision is a specialist provision for 20 pupils with an EHCP, across the KS2 age range, who have been identified as having moderate learning difficulties.
The ideal candidates will:
- have experience of working with children with SEND
- has a desire to help pupils with SEND achieve their full potential through helping delivering an adapted curriculum
- already have HLTA status
- be enthusiastic, confident and able to show initiative
- possess good literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
- have a friendly manner with a good sense of humour;
- be calm and patient;
- show evidence that they can form positive and professional relationships with pupils, staff and parents;
- have good interpersonal skills and enjoy being part of a supportive team;
