Hollywater School is a school for pupils aged 4-19 with complex learning needs. You will help our students to be as independent as possible in their daily life, recognize and encourage them to thrive in all areas and help them learn vital life skills.
We recognise that the personal development of pupils spiritually, morally, socially and culturally, plays a significant part in their ability to achieve and learn and prepares them for the opportunities, responsibilities and experience of adult life.
Who we are looking for:
We’re looking for a compassionate, caring and patient person to join our Pink class. Pink class is a mixed key stage class of pupils aged between 6 to 8 years old. Pupils are complex ASD and SLD with high dependency and can express some challenging behaviour. We need an individual who up for a challenge, is extremely adaptable and is able to think fast on their feet in heightened situations. Along with this we are seeking someone who

- Have a nurturing nature which will support and develop the wellbeing of all students
- Has the ability to work effectively as part of a team and form positive relationships with students, parents, carers, colleagues and the wider community.
You must:
- Hold an English and Maths GCSE at a grade C and above
- Experience in a SEN role is desirable but full training will be given
Please note that this role will require an enhanced DBS check with child and adult barred lists.
