Job Introduction

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SENCO who is committed to making a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of children with special educational needs. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to join our ambitious, forward-thinking team and contribute to a school community that places the well-being and progress of every pupil at its centre.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has the vision, commitment and expertise to lead inclusive practice and help every learner thrive

  • Is a fully qualified teacher who holds the National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete within 3 years)

  • Has excellent communication and leadership skills

  • Can inspire, support and challenge staff to ensure the best outcomes for all pupils, particularly by modelling excellent classroom practice to others.

  • Is highly organised, proactive and solutions-focused

  • Values strong partnerships with parents, carers and outside agencies

  • Has high aspirations for themselves and others; 

  • Is committed to safeguarding and the welfare and wellbeing of the school community
