SEND Administration Assistant
27.5 hours per week, 9am – 3pm with a 30 minute lunch break. Term Time plus 1 week
Start date September 2026
We are seeking to appoint a dedicated and organised SEND Administration Assistant to join our inclusive and supportive team. The successful candidate will provide essential administrative support to our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) department, ensuring efficient processes that help secure excellent progress for all our students.

Main Purpose
The postholder will:
- Provide high-quality administrative support to the SEND department and the Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) and SEND Manager.
- Contribute to the efficient management of SEND documentation and statutory processes.
- Promote a positive attitude to learning and actively support the school’s ethos and Core Values.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for students with SEND, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with school policies.
- Coordinate and schedule SEND-related meetings, including Annual Reviews, and prepare necessary documentation.
- Act as a point of contact for parents, staff, and external agencies regarding administrative SEND enquiries.
- Support the SENCO and SEND Manager in monitoring and reporting on student progress in line with school policies.
- Adapt administrative systems to effectively respond to the needs of students with SEND.
- Uphold and promote school policies, including those relating to safeguarding and behaviour.
- Engage fully in professional development opportunities and attend staff meetings as required.

Salary details: HCC Grade C. Actual - £16,422 to £17,337 (FTE - £25,186 to £26,244)
