SENDCo (0.4 FTE) - Andrews’ Endowed CE Primary School

 

Are you an experienced and dedicated SENDCo seeking an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the continued success of a vibrant school community? Andrews’ Endowed CE Primary School is excited to offer a 0.4 FTE position for an accomplished SENDCo to join our team and help shape our inclusive learning environment.

Your Role:

- Drive the development of strong SEND provision across the school.

- Uphold the school's Christian ethos and foster positive relationships with parents, staff, and governors.

- Contribute to the overall leadership and strategic direction of the school.

- Utilise your expertise to track pupil progress using data and tailored approaches.

- Develop collaborative partnerships with parents, outside agencies, and colleagues.

- Employ your understanding of the Annual Review and statutory assessment processes.

- Create customised learning packages to meet individual pupil needs creatively.

 

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a SENDCo.

- QTS and a minimum of an undergraduate degree.

- National Award SENCO Qualification.

- Demonstrated experience in middle or senior leadership roles.

- Profound understanding of current SEN developments, theory, and provision.

- Expertise in pupil identification, curricular planning, and progress monitoring for SEND.

- Strong communication, organisational, and team-working skills.
