Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint a highly capable school nurse, to work in partnership with associate colleagues, to support pupils with medical needs and to administer front-line first aid. You will be a valued member of our team as we strive to become an outstanding school.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:
- Assess the medical needs of pupils and staff, and administer front-line first aid e.g. plasters, and other action as appropriate.
- Maintain and administer approved medication to pupils.
- Complete statutory records and reports.
- Liaise with external agencies as appropriate.
- Ensure pupils have access to high quality pastoral care.
