Salary Details: Grade E FTE: £32149 - £35241 Pro-rated actual salary £28134.84 - £30840.72
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday – 8.30am – 4.00pm (excluding 30 minute lunchbreak daily) / 35 Hours Per Week

We are looking to appoint a calm, caring and efficient Senior Administrative Officer as a valued leader in a vibrant and highly inclusive school community. This key finance and administration role is vital in enabling our children to thrive and embrace the very best opportunities as life-long learners.
We are looking for someone who:
- Supports and contributes to our school's values, ethos, and overarching vision, where all children develop into confident, curious, and resilient individuals who engage respectfully and positively with their community.
- Has a positive approach, a good sense of humour and the capacity to support, motivate and inspire others
- Prioritises safeguarding and maintains confidentiality.
- Has a welcoming and calm approach, is a strong communicator in a wide variety of forms and enjoys building relationships with all stakeholders
- Has successful experience working at a senior level in administration
- Is competent in understanding budgets and can demonstrate sound financial management
- Has 5 GCSEs at Grade C or above including English and Maths and ideally formal relevant higher qualifications
- Is solution-focused and excited about embracing the rewards and challenges of working in a thriving school environment
Main responsibilities will include:
- Management of the school budget, financial systems and databases including acting as the principal adviser on finance and administrative matters in senior leadership and governing body meetings
- Processing invoices and ensuring cost effectiveness for the school in the provision of goods and services
- Adopting the lead role in establishing a welcoming reception for all members of the school community and visitors
- Assisting with the appointment and induction of new staff including implementing performance management for the admin team/caretaker and assuming operational responsibility for site support staff
- Data Protection Officer
- Health and Safety administration
