Starting salary Grade D1 - £25,589 per annum pro rata

Park Community School’s catering team are looking for a Senior Chef De Partie to join our award-winning team helping to support our school catering operation and external catering businesses by providing excellent customer service to our students, staff and visitors.
Responsibilities will include:
- Preparing and cooking our delicious menu daily in line with set standards.
- Helping to manage all aspects of the main kitchens, including Health & Safety, Training & Development, and Kitchen Hygiene Documentation.
- Working with our senior chef team to develop the commercial offer, helping to keep our brand on theme and modern.
A passion for food is vital and great customer service is essential. Good communication skills throughout our customer journey are a must, with excellent supervisory skills being the real key to managing, developing and motivating a team. You will need to have some financial knowledge, but we will make sure you receive full training in all our processes and software systems to help you. The ideal applicant will have a proven background with qualifications to match or equivalent experience.
Usual hours of work are 7am to 3pm Monday to Friday with a half hour break, finishing at 2.30pm on Fridays. Occasional weekend / evening work may be required, with prior notice.
