Salary scale £27,706 - £30,623 pa FTE

Bonus of £500 after 6 months’ service

Level 3 NVQ in childcare or equivalent required

Rotherly Day Nursery is looking for another exceptional qualified person to join our team. Call us on 01962 854757 to arrange a chat and a visit to our special setting.

The successful applicant will be required to work across all age groups 0-4 years and should have a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare and relevant experience of early years.

The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic person who is dedicated to early years with a passion for inclusive practice, partnership with parents and carers, professional development, and making a difference to children’s outcomes.

The successful candidate will:

  • Have Level 3 NVQ Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • Have three years of experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Have obtained English qualifications to GCSE Grade 4, or their equivalent.
  • Have proven knowledge, understanding and experience with children.
  • Be cheerful, enthusiastic, flexible and approachable.
  • Show initiative within the role and have good time management skills.
  • Be a hard-working team player in order to support the growth and development of the children in our care.
  • Have the patience and imagination to encourage children to build on their skills.
  • Be committed to the highest possible levels of achievement for every child.
  • Assert leadership skills to support and mentor colleagues and students, including appraisal process.
  • Have effective and consistent organisational skills.
  • Be able to demonstrate practice to reflect pedagogical knowledge.
