Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Park Community School is looking to recruit an experienced primary school senior leader or headteacher for January 2025.

You should be passionate to drive the quality of education across Key Stages 1 to 3. You will have the skills and experience to be able to lead a primary school on a short term or day to day basis with the support of other colleagues.

You will be able to develop our inclusive culture so that children aged 4 to13 can thrive and flourish. You will enjoy the opportunities that come from being part of a large leadership team which is currently focused on the secondary age range, building on our school’s ethos of helping children find something that they love to do.

We seek to be much more than just a school by playing an important role in our local community and through our broad curriculum. You will be able to help us develop that breadth into Key Stages 1 and 2. You may also have worked with pre-school and nursery age children, with ideas that will help increase the pace of learning in early years.

Your experience will allow you to demonstrate creating a happy learning environment which leads to success academically as well as socially for the children.

This is a new role and will require initiative, resilience and suit someone with a sense of adventure!
