Job Introduction
Lakeside School is an outstanding day and residential special school for 97 boys aged between 10 and 16 who have social, mental and / or emotional health difficulties. Many have associated difficulties including autism spectrum disorder and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder.
We are looking to recruit a senior residential child care worker to work 37 hours per week which will include 2 sleep in sessions per week.
Working as part of a team you will provide care and support for up to 23 boys. A Level 3 diploma in children and young people or equivalent, is desirable or a willingness to study for a similar qualification.
The successful candidate will join a dynamic and supportive team focused on pupil progress and will have access excellent training and development opportunities.
