Job Introduction

A fantastic opportunity to join our strong team of two good, federated schools in Gosport, Hampshire – Holbrook Primary School and Bedenham Primary School.

We are a friendly and welcoming federation of two schools who are looking to appoint a proactive and enthusiastic site assistant/handyperson to assist our experienced premises team.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have good DIY skills and be happy to work on a wide range of tasks to ensure our grounds and buildings are maintained to a high standard.
  • Be happy to work both inside and out, under the direction of our Site Managers
  • Have pride in their working environment and want the best for our pupils
  • Have a “can do” attitude and a willingness to learn new skills
  • Maintain health and safety standards at all times
  • Have basic computer skills (training can be provided)

This position is full-time, initially based at Holbrook working alongside our experienced Site Manager. However, on some weeks, where certain tasks need to be carried out, your time will be split across both schools.

Hours are flexible, with some day shifts and some split shifts covering the time before and after the school day.
