Job Introduction

Here is an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self motivated individual to join our team.

Kings Furlong Infant School and Nursery is a two-form entry infant school with a purpose built nursery. We aim to give children the best start to their education and are proud of the school and its grounds.

We currently cater for 40 children in our nursery and strive to provide the best possible start to their educational experience with immersive and creative experiences and approaches to their learning.

Our infant school is lively and purposeful with two classes per year group. Our children benefit from open and focussed learning environments as well as shared areas to support their learning when needed.

We are very proud of our outdoor space and are lucky enough to have a pond as well as an outdoor learning area to offer opportunities for children to be able to learn a range of skills outside – which they love!

The School Site Assistant role plays a crucial role within our school and in supporting the education of our children. The attached job description outlines the key roles/tasks. 

Hours of Work are 25 hours per week, 43 weeks a year (term time plus 5 weeks).
