Job Introduction
We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hardworking Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for staff, visitors, and students. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, basic maintenance knowledge, and a strong commitment to take pride in our school and grounds.
Key Responsibilities
- Open and close the premises as required.
- Carry out routine inspections of buildings and grounds.
- Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
- Maintain the school grounds.
- Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-presented.
- Monitor heating, lighting, and security systems.
- Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
- Liaise with contractors and service providers.
- Maintain health and safety standards across the site.
- Set up rooms and facilities for meetings, events, and activities.
- Manage supplies and report any stock requirements.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, facilities, or similar role.
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexible and dependable approach to work.
