Site Manager

Job Introduction

We are seeking a reliable, proactive, and hardworking Site Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe, clean, and secure environment for staff, visitors, and students. This is a hands-on role requiring excellent organisational skills, basic maintenance knowledge, and a strong commitment to take pride in our school and grounds. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Open and close the premises as required.
  • Carry out routine inspections of buildings and grounds.
  • Perform minor repairs and basic maintenance tasks.
  • Maintain the school grounds.
  • Ensure all facilities are clean, safe, and well-presented.
  • Monitor heating, lighting, and security systems.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance issues and emergencies.
  • Liaise with contractors and service providers.
  • Maintain health and safety standards across the site.
  • Set up rooms and facilities for meetings, events, and activities.
  • Manage supplies and report any stock requirements.


What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience in a caretaker, maintenance, facilities, or similar role.
  • Knowledge of health and safety procedures.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible and dependable approach to work.
  • Passionate about making a difference and taking pride in your work.
