Please Note: The application deadline for this job has now passed.

Job Introduction

Our longstanding Site Manager is retiring and we are looking for a unique individual to fill his rather large shoes!  If you are keen to support us in providing our lovely community with a safe and clean environment in which to thrive, we would love to meet you.  Our highly inclusive school is a 3 form entry Infant school catering for 270 vibrant and enthusiastic children, set in rich and varied grounds.

We are looking for someone who can use their initiative, is able to turn their hand to a range of DIY skills, both practically and creatively.  Is able to navigate relevant Health & Safety policies and procedures and show flexibility and positivity in their working attitude.

You will be able to prioritise your own workload, communicate effectively with both children and adults alike.  This role requires you to complete a number of administrative tasks supported by your line manager, our Health & Safety Lead, and additionally you will work with 2 wonderful cleaners who you will line manage.

We can offer you a comprehensive handover period, a full training package, the flexibility of some term time holidays (this is a 52 week/year contract) and a warm and welcoming team in which to spend your working hours (37 hours a week)

Your hours are negotiable and could include a mix of shifts both 7am - 3pm and split (7am - 11am and 3 - 6pm) as agreed, making this an attractive, flexible role.

Visits to our school are warmly welcomed. Please contact Nikki Thundercliffe (n.thundercliffe@padnell-inf.hants.sch.uk, Tel: 02392 263784), to arrange. Applications are to be made using the HCC application form below.
