Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Site Manager to be responsible for the security, safety and maintenance of the school. We are a three form infant school based in the centre of Petersfield with a passion to enable every child to be the best they can be.
Your main duties will be:
- Operate a cleaning schedule for yourself and to include supervising outside cleaners
- Develop and manage a programme of planned and preventative maintenance
- Organise emergency repairs on school buildings
- Engage and monitor external contractors
- Act as the principal keyholder responding to emergency 'call outs'
- Be responsible for the security of the school site
- Be Fire Safety Officer
- Ensure systems are in place to ensure all practices and emergency procedures are safe and adhere to Health and Safety requirements including fire safety, COSHH and Legionella

- hardworking, resilient, flexible and resourceful
- Organised with good time management, communication and IT skills
- Has some level of do-it-yourself experience
- Understands the importance of health and safety in school
