Our recently graded OUTSTANDING nursery (May 2023) has a new vacancy for a Special Educational Needs Assistant to provide high quality care and learning for children with special educational needs and disabilities at Haven. As an Early Years SEND Hub for Hampshire our exceptional practice and high-quality training make us a unique and exciting place to work.  

We are seeking team players who want to further develop their excellent SEND early years practice. Fantastic opportunities for professional development and training available, including speech and language, Makaton, THOMAS training and Attention Autism… to name of few!! We are a large nursery team who are dedicated in supporting all young children to grow.

This is a permanent, fulltime role, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks a year with a salary range of £24,027 - £25,430 (Hampshire County Council Grade B/C – depending on experience).  The Centre is open from 7.45am – 6.00pm, Monday to Friday. Hours of work will be on a shift basis to cover these opening hours, unless otherwise agreed.
