Job Introduction

ECT – KS1 Class Teacher – Starting September 2025 permanent

We are excited to be recruiting an ECT to our fabulous team at Shamblehurst Primary School. The vacancy is likely to be in Year 1 . 

Our Year One team have worked very hard to create an exceptional learning environment, including a great outdoor learning garden. Shamblehurst is an exciting place to learn and we are very proud of our inspirational and challenging curriculum. You will be well supported by our ECT mentor and the wider Shamblehurst team. Our children are amazing, they behave well and enjoy learning! So please do arrange a visit to come and see them in action!

Shamblehurst Primary School is committed to well being and work life balance.  We do our very best to ensure year groups have PPA together and that staff meetings have an impact and kept to an hour long.  We use an instructional coaching model to support all teachers and we are in the business of growing outstanding teachers and LSAs in house.  We are a No Outsiders school.

The closing date will be Thursday the 27th March at 9am with Interviews being conducted on Tuesday 1st April 2025.
