Class Teacher – Maternity Cover - Key Stage 1 or 2, part-time (0.5)


The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly capable and inspirational part-time Class Teacherto join our Key Stage 1/Key Stage 2 teaching team on a fixed term contract. This is a fantasticopportunity for a motivated professional with exceptional teaching skills to further drive highstandards of attainment at our successful school. The successful candidate will have teachingexperience in either Key Stage One or Two, underpinned by a clear vision for improving pupils’life chances.

This is a part-time teaching position, to work in a job-share for 2.5 days per week, to start inSeptember 2025. It is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave. The days will be confirmedbetween the two members of the job share team and the Headteacher, once the successfulcandidate is appointed.

The successful candidate will:

• have a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils;

• have a strong background in either Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2;

• be able to plan, prepare and adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the specificneeds of the pupils;

• have excellent interpersonal qualities, underpinned by a firm vision for improvingoutcomes for children;

• be passionate about implementing a stimulating, tidy and attractive learning environmentfor pupils;

• have a sense of humour;

• be a practising Catholic or committed to being sympathetic to our Catholic values andethos;

• place the children at the heart.

Salary range: M2 – M6
