Teacher in Charge of Resource Provision - KS1

Job / Person Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity to lead the development of our well-regarded Resourced Provision for 10 pupils with Learning Difficulties, which is an integral part of the whole school. The provision is currently undergoing a re-designation to reflect that we support children with a wide range of learning needs to access mainstream education.  You will lead a team of three members of learning support staff in the Resourced Provision and share advice and expertise with colleagues in the rest of the school. You will be supported by the Teacher in Charge of our junior Resourced Provision, and our SENDCo. 

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is playful, understands young children’s development and is committed to the principles of inclusion;
  • Lives out our values every day; 
  • Has experience working with children with a range of additional needs in mainstream school or a special school;
  • Is emotionally intelligent, aware of their impact and can adapt to communicate with colleagues and parents to align goals; 
  • Is inspirational, passionate and always learning;
  • Has high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour;
  • Is a clear communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of leading, motivating and developing a team;
  • Has the ambition to continue to develop in your career.
