Students are introduced to a wide range of techniques and express themselves through different mediums. Students are nurtured to convey their meaning using critical understanding and experimentation, showing a fundamental love of the subject.

We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, innovative, and skilled Teacher of Art and Photography, who is excited by the opportunity to work with us.   The successful applicant will have a flexible, creative approach with an ability to teach across the full range of abilities in KS3 and KS4.  This is a maternity cover contract.

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching skills 
  • Is able to build positive relationships with all learners and is committed to raising attainment of all students 
  • Will work collaboratively within the Art/Photography team to contribute to the success of the department 
  • Is willing to commit to extracurricular activities that add value to the school and local community 
  • Is able to respond positively and creatively to the changing expectations of the subject
