We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of Dance and Physical Education who has high expectations and continuously strives for the best outcomes. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1,090 students. We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.

The department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff. The Creative and Performing Arts team are committed to providing students with an outstanding appreciation of the Arts subjects, as well as developing creative and inquisitive minds who aspire to excellence in their practical performance work. As part of the department there is an expectation of staff to contribute to the wider life of the school, offering projects and rehearsals to compliment this vision and support the Arts Team. 

We are looking for a strong classroom practitioner who can inspire students. They will have excellent subject knowledge and the ability to make learning exciting, engaging yet challenging in the build-up leading to examination success. The successful candidate will teach Dance at both KS3 and KS4 level with an ability to teach KS3 Physical Education. 

 This role would suit both experienced teachers and ECTs.
