Teacher of Food Technology

Job Introduction

We are seeking a talented Teacher of Food Technology to join our established and successful department. The Food Technology team is based in its own dedicated building, which houses three well‑equipped specialist rooms as well as excellent supporting facilities. The department is further strengthened by an experienced and highly capable group of technicians who play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of lessons and practical work.

Food Technology is a thriving subject taught to all students at KS3, with Food and Nutrition offered at KS4 and expanding into the Sixth Form next year. The successful candidate will teach KS3 and KS4 with the potential in future to teach KS5, bringing a creative, practical and enthusiastic approach to the curriculum. A commitment to high-quality teaching, innovative planning and strong teamwork within a supportive and successful department is essential.

A genuine passion for food education, and for the wider contribution it makes to students’ wellbeing, independence, and future opportunities is key. The ideal candidate will inspire and motivate learners at all levels and will contribute positively to the continued growth and success of this well‑regarded department.
