Teacher of History

Job Introduction

We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, innovative, and inspirational Teacher of History who is passionate about shaping young people’s understanding of the world. This is an exciting opportunity to join a school on a journey of growth and transformation, and to contribute to a Humanities team that places curiosity, critical thinking, and academic ambition at its heart.

This position is suitable for either an Early Career Teacher or a more experienced practitioner. The ability to teach Religious Studies at KS3/4 or Sociology at KS4 would be a strong advantage, as would a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes.

Frogmore Community College is a welcoming and ambitious secondary school at the heart of the Yateley community. Having recently joined the Weydon Multi Academy Trust, we are entering a significant period of development and improvement.

As a valued member of our friendly Humanities team, you will help create an inclusive, aspirational learning environment where every young person is supported to achieve their full potential. We are committed to equity, excellence, and the personal development of every student, empowering them with the confidence, knowledge, and skills to thrive in school, in society, and in life.

If you are a committed educator who believes in the power of high‑quality teaching to change lives, we would be delighted to hear from you. We warmly welcome visits and would be pleased to arrange a tour or discuss the role further should you wish to explore the opportunity before applying. Please contact  Mrs Osborne, PA to the Principal on 01252 408444 or s.osborne@frogmorecommunitycollege.co.uk.

Please visit www.frogmorecollege.co.uk and www.weydonmat.co.uk for more information.

The closing date for applications is Wednesday 22nd April 2026.

Interviews will take place week commencing 27th April 2026.

Frogmore Community College and Weydon Multi Academy Trust are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. We will ensure that all our recruitment and selection practices reflect this commitment. All successful candidates will be subject to Disclosure and Barring Service checks along with other relevant employment checks.

Disclaimer: we reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date if we receive applications that meet the criteria. Once a vacancy has closed, we are unable to consider further applications, so please submit your application as soon as possible to avoid disappointment.
