If you’re looking to relocate to live and work within Hampshire, here’s why you should choose Basingstoke. Set within the beautiful Hampshire countryside with green spaces and walks galore, Basingstoke is something of an oasis. It has shops, restaurants and many parks. Contrary to popular belief, Basingstoke is not a new town. It's actually a very old market town, and can be traced to 1214 in the Domesday Book. It has a rich history both politically and socially, with the cloth and brewing industries both playing a major part in its development. During the 1960's the rebuilding of the town centre and subsequent expansion took place as part of Basingstoke's role as an expanded town to support the ever-growing population of London. There are excellent connections to both the south coast and London with easy access to the mainline railway station and M3 Motorway.
Please note that we do not accept applications on Hampshire County Council forms as we are a Catholic school. All applications must be submitted on forms from the Catholic Education Service that are available on http://www.catholiceducation.org.uk/recruitment-process or by request from school. This application form is very straightforward to complete.
If you require any further information or would like to arrange a visit to the school, please contact Beverley O’Shea via e-mail recruitment@bcs.hants.sch.uk
