HTC would like to invite applications from dynamic, enthusiastic and committed Teachers to join a strong, supportive and forward-thinking department where results are outstanding with c.80% of students achieving Grade 9-4 over the last 5 years. Our results are amongst the highest in South East Hants and are due to our relentless focus on teaching, learning and sharing. Our results are higher than the National average. In 2024, 20% of students achieved Grades 9-7, 52% of students achieved Grades 9-5.
HTC is committed to providing the highest quality of learning for all students in every lesson. We have an OFSTED rating of outstanding and good (OFSTED Nov 2024). HTC is a ‘college where students’ academic achievements and their personal development is extremely strong’. Ofsted commented on the personalised education and innovative curriculum, the calm atmosphere and well-behaved students who are highly respectful and have positive attitudes to learning. Staff training, support and welfare were seen to be exceptional. ‘Parents are overwhelmingly positive and appreciate the care and support their children receive’.
This post would suit an ECT or experienced Maths Teacher with passion and drive. We comprehensively support all new staff and have tailored programs for ECT’s, staff returning to the profession and those seeking a career change. Applications from Early Career Teachers due to qualify this summer are welcomed.
