Many staff commute easily from Southampton, Hampshire, Isle of Wight and West Sussex either by car or by public transport.
Due to upcoming vacancy and our growing student numbers, we are looking for an MFL teacher who ideally specialises in Spanish and French (or ideally both). The successful candidate can be either an experienced teacher or an ECT to join our supportive, friendly and skilful team which currently excels. We are looking for somebody who is either already a proven excellent practitioner or who is committed, with support and hard work, to become truly excellent. They, like all of us, will be relentless in their desire to ensure that students at Miltoncross far outstrip their peers locally and nationally in both Spanish and French. We are firmly committed to ensuring that staff workload is manageable as we believe that teachers, and leaders, should spend their precious time on those activities that are proven to add value to children’s learning. To achieve this we use a sensible and effective marking strategy, centralised assessments,
resources and knowledge organisers. We also operate with a very open mind for any staff to be able to share how we might do things more effectively and efficiently.
