Duties

- Foster a supportive classroom atmosphere that promotes respectful behavior, active participation, and curiosity among students.
- Use creative writing techniques and storytelling to make religious concepts accessible and inspiring for diverse learners.
- Mentor students through personalized tutoring sessions, helping them develop critical thinking skills in areas such as ethics, philosophy, and cultural studies.
- Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning environment conducive to academic success.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development, assessment strategies, and extracurricular activities related to religious studies.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement using clear and professional language.
- Support students with special educational needs by adapting lessons and providing additional guidance as required.
- Proofread and review student work to ensure clarity, accuracy, and high-quality submissions.
- Assist in organizing school events or projects related to religious festivals or community outreach initiatives.
Experience
- Proven experience teaching Religious Education or similar subjects within a school setting.
- Strong mentoring skills with the ability to motivate and inspire students of varying abilities.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff, students, and parents.
- Demonstrated organizational skills to manage lesson planning, assessments, and classroom resources efficiently.
- Familiarity with teaching math concepts integrated into religious studies or interdisciplinary projects is a plus.
