Alderwood Senior School is a rapidly improving and high performing school, producing GCSE results above national average. Behaviour across the school is very good, with Ofsted describing it as ‘very settled and calm. ’This is an excellent opportunity for a newly qualified or experienced teacher of RS to join our team at Alderwood Senior School from September 2026, or July for an ECT.

 

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge and a genuine passion for teaching Religious Studies, with detailed knowledge of current curriculum and pedagogical developments in their subject and the wider curriculum. A desire to raise overall achievement in Religious Studies through promoting the highest standards of teaching and learning is essential.
