The Learning Support department at Wavell is held in high regard across the County with outcomes for students with SEN above national average.  At the heart of this lies our excellent Elevate programme which supports children with literacy, numeracy and other transferable skills io best support them in the mainstream curriculum.  We are looking for a highly skilled practitioner with experience of working with students who are neurodiverse. There is a very strong and supportive work ethos within the team, creating both a collaborative and great working atmosphere.  

 

We are looking to appoint a dynamic classroom practitioner who: 

  • has excellent subject knowledge 
  • is resilient and resourceful
  • sets a high standard and who inspires students to meet this
  • makes learning exciting, leading to high levels of engagement and exam success
  • thrives within a team and who enjoys collaborative working
  • who ideally has experience of working with children who are neurodiverse.
