We are looking to appoint a dedicated and resilient classroom practitioner who has a growth mind set approach to teaching and is committed to evolving their practice through CPD.
Newtown Soberton Infant school is federated with Meonstoke CE Infant school,across the federation we strongly believe that young children learn best through a carefully planned, practical curriculum which develops not only their academic abilities but also develops the child as a whole. Our values underpin our curriculum with the aim that children develop independence, resilience, self-motivation and the ability to reflect on their achievements through developing their meta-cognition.

- The ability to demonstrate good classroom management skills, high expectations and an inclusive approach
- The willingness to be reflective, keen to engage in professional dialogue regarding teaching and learning
- A positive attitude and motivation to be fully involved in all aspects of school life
- Ideally, recent experience in Key Stage 1
