Fixed Term until 31st August 2025
Hours : 13-15 hours per week between the hours of 12:00 noon - 3:15pm (term-time only) with flexibility to do additional hours if or when required by the school.
Salary: HCC Grade B: £22,737 – £23,058 FTE - equivalent to £11.79-£11.95 per hour
Starting Date: 6th January 2025
Closing date: 30th November 2024
We are looking for two enthusiastic, caring and understanding Teaching Assistants to join our strong, highly committed team. Previous experience of working with young children in the foundation stage is essential.
The successful applicant will:
- Have recent experience of working with young children, in the EYFS and Key Stage 1 and understand resilience required to work in a school setting.
- Relevant qualifications NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above.
- Good working knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and / or Key Stage 1.
- Committed to supporting and motivating all children to achieve their best.
- Have high expectations or both self and pupils
- Have proven literacy and numeracy skills and be computer literate.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to use own initiative but also work collaboratively as part of a team.

This post will be offered initially on a fixed term contract for the remainder of the academic year – with a possibility of it being continued depending on staffing requirements for the following academic year.
