Teaching Assistant - RBridge

Job Introduction

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic team player with a passion for inclusion to join our dedicated teaching staff at RBridge.

RBridge is a small, supportive provision designed for students reintegrating into school after a long absence. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a close-knit team making a tangible difference in students’ lives, fostering both their academic and personal development.

This unique role would ideally suit someone who understands the importance of relationships in a school environment and preferably has experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

About the Role

As part of this role, you will:

  • Work closely with students in small group settings, delivering tailored academic and vocational lessons.
  • Contribute to the inclusive ethos of RBridge by supporting students in both their learning and personal growth.
  • Be part of a team dedicated to creating an environment where students feel supported, valued, and empowered to achieve their full potential.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and make a meaningful impact in a forward-thinking educational setting.

What we’re looking for

We welcome applications from candidates with:

  • Experience supporting students with SEMH needs, particularly anxiety.
  • A background in primary or secondary education.
  • Experience leading social-thinking or emotional-literacy interventions.

Ongoing training and professional development will be provided to ensure you are well-equipped to thrive in this role.
