Job Introduction
South Farnborough Junior School is looking for a proactive and motivated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team from September 2026.
This is an exciting opportunity for anyone who is keen to join a school that values creativity amongst staff to provide the best possible opportunities for children.
We are looking to appoint a TA to work 2:1 with 2 children with additional needs from September 2026. This will be a fixed term contract until December 2026 initially, with the possibility of extending.
The successful candidate;
- Will be patient, caring and empathetic towards children with additional needs
- Can adapt tasks and approaches to help children access appropriate learning
- Will be able to work independently under the direction of the class teacher and the SENDCo
- Must have a good level of written and spoken English and Maths
- Listens to, and acts upon, the advice provided by outside agencies
- Is willing to engage in ongoing professional development
- Will supervise and support lunch duty
