Teaching Assistant with Group and SEND Responsibilities

Graded by Ofsted as Good in May 2023, we continue to strive to be the best we can be, learning and growing together.  We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic team member, who is nurturing and can support developing the needs of our children so that they can achieve their very best.  You will have the opportunity to work with children across the year groups, with a range of needs, some more complex and requiring specific intervention and support. This could be individually, in small groups or whole class.

 

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a professional approach to all aspects of school life
  • Has experience of working with children with SEND
  • Has experience of dealing positively with challenging behaviour
  • Possesses excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Has appropriate levels of literacy and numeracy
  • Is able to work effectively as part of a successful team and show initiative
  • Shows resilience and determination
  • Has a clear understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
  • Has a positive attitude and a good sense of humour

Details:

Start date:                             As soon as possible

Hours:                                   27.5 hours per week

Working Pattern:                   Monday – Friday, 8.45am – 3.30pm                                          

Grade:                                   EHCC Grade B 

FTE Salary:                           Full Time Equivalent salary - £22,736

Actual Salary:                        Actual salary - £14,454

Contract:                               Fixed term contract with an end date 31st August 2025
