ROLE: Teaching Assistant with Lunchtime Support
SCHOOL: Gatcombe Park Primary School
CONTRACT: Permanent
HOURS: 8.45am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday (30.42 hours)
SALARY: Band 3, scale point 3. FTE £24,027 (actual £17,588)
CLOSING DATE: 1ST November 24
INTERVIEW DATE: 6th November 24
START DATE: November 24 or as soon as possible.
HET is a large, fast-paced Trust with currently 35 academies across the South Coast. Linked to 6 community-based partnerships, there are 32 primary academies, 2 secondary and 1 hospital school.
Gatcombe Park Primary School is a one form primary school located on the edge of Portsmouth.

The successful applicant will also have (below are desirable criteria):
- Recent classroom experience of working with primary age children.
- An understanding of how you can positively impact on children’s learning
- An NVQ 2 or equivalent certificate in Childcare and Education
- A good understanding of behaviour management strategies
