The Role
As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teachers and support staff to help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment. You will support pupils both in the classroom and through targeted interventions, helping them to overcome barriers and achieve success.
Responsibilities include:
· Supporting learning across the curriculum
· Working with individual pupils and small groups
· Supporting children with additional learning, physical, emotional or behavioural needs
· Encouraging independence, confidence and resilience
· Assisting with monitoring pupil progress
· Supporting children's welfare and wellbeing
· Contributing to the wider life of the school community
