Job/Person Summary

We are an exceptionally friendly and caring small village school in a beautiful location.  We work as a close, supportive team and we know our children “inside out.” This role is to support specific children with additional needs in Key Stage 2, under the direction of a teacher. The role will also involve providing lunchtime supervision for children in the same class.

The person we are looking for will: 

  • Be a team player with a sense of humour
  • Be keen to learn
  • Have a patient and caring approach 
  • Have recent experience of working with primary aged children
  • Have relevant qualifications (NVQ L2 or above)
  • Have high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • Have proven literacy and numeracy skills and be computer literate

This role can be 31.25 hours per week to work across 2 classes or 20 hours per week (ideally 8.30 – 12.30 Monday – Friday) to work in one class. Please indicate preferred hours on your application form.
