Teaching Assistant

Job Introduction

We are a nurturing single-form-entry church school, beautifully situated in the centre of Romsey.   We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic professional to join our Teaching Assistant team.   The applicant should be qualified to at least the equivalent of GCSE in Maths and English.  

You will be working closely with the teaching team, delivering focused support to help meet the needs of all pupils in the classroom. This would involve opportunities to work 1:1 with children and also with groups. As a school we pride ourselves on having high expectations and deep empathy for all our pupils so that every child is empowered with the best possible education.

This position is for 30 hours a week with the potential for additional hours covering After School Club when needed.

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic and dynamic, as well as having patience, understanding and good communication skills. You will have a high level of commitment and will be supported through strong professional development opportunities.
