Job Introduction

Denmead Infant School – where every day is a learning adventure!

We are a welcoming, inclusive village school looking to appoint an enthusiastic, flexible and highly motivated Teaching Assistant, with excellent communication skills and a positive outlook to work in Key Stage 1. The successful applicant will be able to support and engage children in their learning and adapt activities to suit their needs under the direction of the class teacher.  This post is a fixed term term-time only post until July 2026.

  • can clearly explain to children what is expected of them
  • knows how to promote children’s independence
  • is patient, calm and kind
  • is keen to learn and develop his/her own knowledge and skills to support children’s learning

The successful candidate(s) will have English and Maths qualifications to at least GCSE Grade C or above, or equivalent.
