Teaching Assistant

Job Introduction

Are you a committed, creative, and nurturing professional who believes that every child with complex special needs deserves the opportunity to make outstanding progress in their learning?

Do you thrive in a vibrant and dynamic environment where no two days are ever the same — working alongside a dedicated team who find creative, compassionate, and responsive solutions to complex challenges?

We are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our trauma-informed, therapeutic primary special school for pupils with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs, serving a wide area across Hampshire.

In our school, small class groups and a child-centred approach allow us to create a bespoke learning experience that prioritises pupils’ social and emotional development. By nurturing these needs, we empower children to flourish and achieve their full potential.

For some pupils, we offer a residential experience that provides an extended curriculum and continuity of care. Our teaching and residential care teams work closely together to ensure every child feels safe, supported, and inspired to learn.

We are committed to supporting your professional development through access to our multi-professional team, offering rich opportunities to specialise, grow, and develop your practice.
