Job/Person Summary
We are seeking to appoint a teacher who is committed to ensuring children make the best progress they can, but who is also understanding of the wide range of needs our children have. The role will involve covering a year 4 class during a maternity leave until summer 25. The class has a high number of SEN but also is host class for our speech and language resourced provision pupils.

We are looking for somebody who:
- Is determined to give every child the best possible opportunity to achieve
- Is conscientious, enthusiastic, patient and flexible
- Has an excellent understanding of how children learn
- Has good time management with effective organisational skills
- Is able to work independently, with initiative
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Has effective communication skills
- Ideally is experienced at supporting children with SEND
- Is a committed team member
- Uses effective behaviour management strategies
