JOB/PERSON SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Year 6 booster teacher to join our dedicated team, for a fixed term period, to secure the progress and attainment of our Year 6 pupils. Above all applicants must believe that with hard work, motivation and positivity they can make a difference to the children, raise aspirations and ensure the best possible outcomes for our pupils. The successful candidate will be a confident and competent Year 6 teacher with high expectations of children´s academic, emotional and social development. Experience in Year 6 is essential. The successful applicant will have excellent interpersonal skills, knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, in particular upper Key Stage 2, and be skilled in identifying gaps in pupils’ knowledge and know how to bridge these. The candidate will also be passionate and driven and willing to ‘go that extra mile’ for our pupils.
