Join Our Team as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant!
Are you passionate about making a real and measurable difference in a child's life? We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a happy and caring 5-year-old child with additional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualised support in a classroom setting.
- Assist with learning activities tailored to the child's needs and interests.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment.
- Help develop social skills and emotional regulation.
- Collaborate with teachers and therapists to track progress and adapt strategies.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children, especially those with autism or additional needs.
- Experience of dealing positively with children with challenging behaviour.
- Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
- Ability to create engaging and adaptive learning experiences.
- Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or related fields are a bonus.
