ACE TUTOR – A Champion for Every Child

19 hours - 3 days per week, Term Time only (39 weeks per year)

Salary Grade D - £12,522 (actual) based on FTE £27,779

We are delighted to offer an exciting opportunity to support the learning of young people at our inclusive and welcoming school. We are looking to appoint an ACE Tutor – a champion for every child.  The main duty of the Champion is to work with pupil premium students and their families to support their learning and emotional needs. This involves working in a variety of ways to build relationships and overcome barriers to learning and engagement such as finances, relationships and school-based issues.

This post requires a flexible person with a good standard of literacy and numeracy, who relates well to others and is keen to make a difference to the prospects of the young people of Gosport.  The preferred candidate will be educated to Graduate level although other relevant qualifications will be considered.
