Job Introduction

Admin Assistant at Wallop Primary School where "Every learning minute matters"

Wallop Primary is a small, friendly village school with a real family feel. We are a supportive, kind, and hardworking team, who also enjoy having fun! In December 2025, we had a positive inspection from Ofsted under the revised framework. We are incredibly proud of our report card, particularly our culture of attendance, which Ofsted described as enviable.

We are looking for a dedicated Admin Assistant to join our fantastic team. Your role will be vital in assisting with the smooth running of the school, so that every child can reach their full potential. This will include general daily administration and attendance tasks as well as being the first point of contact for families and visitors. Working alongside our Admin and Finance Officer, and the Headteacher, you will also play a key role in maintaining our strong attendance culture and managing admissions.

The ideal hours would be 8:30am - 4pm five days a week. However, we are happy to discuss hours, including start and end times, for the right candidate.

What we offer:

  • A Supportive Team - Colleagues who are kind, hard-working, and genuinely supportive of one another.

  • Wonderful Children - Polite, well-behaved pupils who are keen to learn and play well together.

  • A Kind Community - Parents and a wider community who are positive, considerate, and supportive of the school’s vision.

  • An effective training offer - Including potential for further training to broaden your skillset
