After School Club Co-ordinator

Do you enjoy working with children in an inclusive and safe environment?

We are looking for an after school club co-ordinator. This role is vital to our school as it offers our parents flexibility after school hours. Your role will be to supervise the children, engage them in activities and provide them with a healthy snack. This is a very popular club and the children enjoy coming.

We are looking for someone who

  • enjoys working and engaging with the children
  • is able to prepare healthy snacks/light meals for children
  • is able to work alone but enjoys being part of a supportive team
  • has good interpersonal skills
  • is able to engage children in meaningful activities
  • ideally will have work experience with children, but not essential
  • has a good sense of humour
  • has an understanding of safeguarding and confidentiality, safeguarding training is provided
  • ideally has a 1st aid certificate and food hygiene certificate, although not essential as training can be provided
