After-school club Supervisor

We are looking for a passionate and organised individual to lead our Starcare Wrap Around Provision at Tweseldown Infant School. Job details 

 

Hours: 15 hours and 15 mins per week. Term time only.  Made up of:

PM sessions: After-school assistant - Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday 3-6pm.

AM sessions: Breakfast assistant – Monday, Wednesday & Thursday 7.30-8.35am.

PM session: Club supervisor – Thursday 3-6pm.

Salary: B Grade After-school and breakfast assistant (£12.85/hr) and C Grade Club supervisor planning role on a Thursday (£13.05/hr)

Contract type: Permanent

 

Main Purpose 

To ensure the smooth running of Starcare by planning, ensuring staff are aware of roles for the following week, liaison with the office, managing stock and planning meals and shopping list for the week.

 

Duties and responsibilities 

Planning and delivering activities

  • Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities and experiences to support pupils’ development in a fun way
  • Brief other extended provision staff so they’re aware of how the activities will run 
  • Manage stock of resources necessary to carry out planned activities 
  • Liaise with the office team regarding payments, letters etc

 Health and safety and Safeguarding

  • Feedback concerns relating to pupils’ health and safety and safeguarding to a senior member of staff
