Job Introduction
We are seeking to appoint an ambitious, highly skilled and passionate Teacher of Art to join our successful and forward-thinking department at The Vyne Community School.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a school where our motto, Inspiring Excellence, underpins everything we do. Art is highly valued, outcomes are strong, and students are encouraged to think creatively, solve problems, and take pride in their work. The subject is a popular choice at GCSE and is consistently oversubscribed, reflecting both strong teaching and high levels of student engagement.
You will play a key role in delivering a rigorous, knowledge-rich and skills-focused curriculum that enables all students to develop a strong cultural appreciation of art, develop their creativity as well as achieve excellent outcomes and develop the confidence to succeed both academically and personally.
We are looking for a teacher who combines strong subject expertise with high expectations and a commitment to ensuring every student, regardless of starting point, can thrive. You will embody our core values of determination, opportunity, valour and empathy, fostering a culture where students are motivated, resilient, and respectful members of the school community.

Contribute to an ambitious, well-sequenced curriculum that secures strong outcomes
Support students of all abilities to achieve their very best
